1/ Pharma STOCK Returns (June’24-25)
Wockhardt led with an impressive 203.89% stock return from June 2024 to June 2025, outpacing all peers.
Blue Jet and Neuland Lab followed with strong returns of 124.82% and 88.76%, respectively.
Several companies, including Cipla, Glenmark, and Divi's Lab, recorded returns between 34% and 49%.
Orchid Pharma experienced the largest decline, with a 35.35% drop in stock value.
The majority of pharmaceutical stocks showed positive returns, with only a few, like Emcure and Sai Life, recording negative growth

2/ Behavioural therapy Awareness in Indian Families
We have conducted an awareness survey to understand the challenges families face in accessing behavioural therapy for their children. A critical observation is the overwhelming lack of awareness (58%).

Further, concerns have been raised with regards to the therapy sessions in terms of value for money, quality of care and the way the sessions are conducted leaving the parents less than desired experience.

In a ground-breaking achievement, a team led by Professor Duan Feng at Nankai University successfully conducted the world’s first human trial of a brain-computer interface (BCI) implanted via blood vessels, enabling a 67-year-old man paralyzed on one side due to a stroke to regain limb movement. The minimally invasive procedure involved inserting a stent electrode into brain blood vessels through a neck vein, guided by high-precision imaging, avoiding the need for invasive skull surgery as used by approaches like Neuralink. |
