1/ Indian Hospitals STOCK Returns (June'24-25)
The smaller hospitals've raised GROWTH money from the Public directly.
The Doctors've to generally depend on either Bank Loans or Internal Profits or Strategic Investment from PE-Brands for fundraise.
As India doesn't have indigenous PEs to invest in hospitals, the branded-hospitals which are getting 95% of PE funding are looking to strategically acquire majority stakes in legacy hospitals in Tier-2/3 in the coming 10years.

3a/ AI in Paediatric Leukemia in Netherlands
USE-CASE: - Revolutionising Paediatric LEUKEMIA Care: AI's Swift Personalisation
PROBLEM
The process of finding personalized treatment options for children with leukemia, especially those who do not respond to standard therapies, is time-consuming and traditionally takes days. This delay can be critical for the patients' health, as timely intervention is essential in such cases.
SOLUTION
An AI tool has been developed to address this challenge. It quickly processes extensive medical literature and anonymized patient data using advanced models, delivering personalized treatment plans in moments. This significantly reduces the time required compared to traditional methods. Currently in the testing phase, the tool has the potential to become a global resource for oncologists, revolutionising leukemia treatment for children by enabling faster, tailored care.
3b/ Indian incidence of Paediatric Leukemia
As India has high incidence of Leukemia and cases are increasing over the years, this AI-tool can be relevant for India as well.
For eg. as per a news article (HERE), in a single hospital (GMCH, Nagpur, India), the Leukemia cases since FY22 increased by 60% in FY25.
